Dr. Beckman has been building knowledge management systems most of his professional career, primarily in the Intelligence Community and DOD. He is a former USAF KC-135 pilot and a Vietnam Veteran.  He is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of TreatNOW.org and Chief Knowledge Officer, Foundation for the Study of Inflammatory Disease.  

In 2020, The American College of Hyperbaric Medicine (ACHM) their ACHM Ken Locklear Visionary Award to Dr. Beckman marking him as a leader and true visionary in the field of hyperbaric medicine. The award reads: “you have distinguished yourself by exhibiting dedication and passion to the field of hyperbaric medicine.”
